ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Jill!
A Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and a Joyful Optimist.
I am excited to help you grow in self-knowledge while giving you tools to start living your life to the fullest.
Taking the first step to getting help is never easy. It takes vulnerability and self-awareness to know that you’re ready to begin this journey.
I'm here to collaborate with you and provide effective methods to empower you to live life to the fullest.
I’m passionate about holistic approaches to healing that create an environment for growth. After graduating from the California Institute of Integral Studies, I’ve spent the last six years building inclusive therapeutic relationships with adolescents and adults.
My goal is to give my clients strategies for achieving enhanced self-growth.
Eastern philosophy has played a major role in my understanding of the complexities of human behavior. The physical, emotional, social, and spiritual factors that influence how people behave also affect their well-being.
In addition, I have completed a two year post graduate training in buddhist psychology. Also, I’ve been trained in EMDR, somatic therapy work shops, 9 month Gestalt therapy, a semester Hakomi therapy, plus two Hakomi therapy work shops and polyvagal theory workshop. I’ve completed training through CSUSF’s Center for Research and Education on Gender and Sexuality. Lastly I am a trained Supervisor for supervisee looking to complete their training for licensure.
My Approach
When I’m not in the office in Los Gatos, I’m putting my feet up and reading about American history, and Eastern philosophies like Buddhism, making art and hanging out with my four-legged friend Vida.
